Carpell Surfaces was founded in 2001 by a visionary entrepreneur who wanted to make sports fields greener and safer.

We’ve been growing across Canada ever since – thanks to our high-quality products and experienced team.

What sets us apart is our broad expertise, which spans the supply, installation and maintenance of synthetic multi-sports fields, athletics tracks and safety surfacing for playgrounds.

We have worked on more certified projects than any other company in Canada. To date, we have installed more than 1,800 synthetics sports surfaces, including over 200 sports fields and athletics tracks.

A proactive and efficient team

Our highly specialized team has made Carpell Surfaces a national and international leader in synthetic sports surfaces.

We have been awarded many prestigious contracts over the years. More recently: The 2021 Hamilton Tiger-Cats and FC Forge Tim Hortons Stadium, The 2015 Pan Am / Parapan Am Games, The 2018 NACAC Track and Field Championships in Toronto, The synthetic surface at the Montreal Olympic Stadium for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada.

Carpell has also earned numerous FIFA, IRB, FIH certifications for synthetic turf fields as well as World Athletics IAAF Class 1 and Class 2 certifications for athletics tracks – the highest international ratings given for these types of surfaces.

Innovative, eco-friendly synthetic surfaces

Carpell is the exclusive Canada-wide distributor for leading world-class manufacturers. We’re proud to offer the best warranties on the market.

Mondo, one of our partners, is a manufacturer of high performance prefabricated athletic track mats and official supplier to the Olympic Games. Act Global is a FIFA Quality Licensee for Football Turf. Stockmeier Urethanes, manufacturer of poured-in-place athletic track systems. Schmitz Foam, manufacturer of eco-friendly sport shock pads for football/soccer synthetic turf fields.

We are also taking steps to make our synthetic surfaces and artificial turf greener and safer.

We have partnered with Paverreco to recycle and/or repurpose our synthetic turf at the end of its life.

We developed the Carpell Eco-System – an innovative synthetic surfacing for playgrounds that’s safe, durable and eco-friendly. This non-toxic, slip-resistant rubberized surfacing allows daycares, school parks and municipal parks to offer safe facilities that meet government safety standard CSA Z614-07.
